This is an Association of Producers and Traders of clean sweetpotato seeds and roots in the Lake Zone.
The main aim of the Association is to promote social and economic developments in the sweetpotato value chain to the sweetpotato Seed producers, Root producers, Traders, Processors and, the community at large that hail in the great Lake Victoria Region.
Why the Lake Zone? Up to 70% of total sweetpotato production in the country is from the lake zone.

SEED BIO-DIVERSITY
We ensure that seed producers and farmers have access to sweet potato seed varieties that are more resilient to climate change, pests and diseases. Taking into consideration geographical needs and preferred land races.
EXTENSION SERVICES
Enriching producers and farmers with technological advancement with emphasis on good agricultural practices (GAP) for enhanced yield.
CROP PROTECTION
Assisting Producers and Farmers in minimizing damages caused by pests, diseases and post-harvest losses with emphasis on on-farm management skills.

As an Association extensive network of farmers from the 6 regions of the Lake Zone, we deliver clean seeds countrywide at affordable costs and in a timely manner.
